Sizing:
It is critical that all the required measurements are taken accurately to insure that your items will fit well and be comfortable for your dog. Please check our measurement guide or contact us if you have any questions.
Care and Laundry directions:
All of our outerwear is washable and we recommend a cool water wash and cool/warm dry.
The rainwear can be washed with a waterproof agent every few years depending on use.
Clean jewelry in mild soapy water, rinse well and dry with a soft cloth.
From Order to your Home:
Because all of our orders are custom made to each individual’s measurements, we take ten to fourteen days to complete your order before we mail it to you. If we complete your order sooner we will mail it as soon as we are able.
Shipping Options:
All products are shipped USPS Priority Mail. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge. Please contact us for more information.
Exchanges/Returns:
If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us immediately to let us know the reason for your concern. We will work to address your issue.
In the unlikely event that a product has a manufacturing defect, please email us and we will authorize a return. Please return the item with your receipt and packing slip, and an explanation of the reason for the return within 7 days of delivery. Unauthorized returns will not be considered for refund or exchange.
We will be happy to exchange products that show no signs of wear; however we charge a restocking fee of $25.00 for all custom orders. Please measure your dog carefully using the guidelines on the sizing page to avoid disappointment.
All shipping costs associated with returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. Barkstone Designs is not responsible for lost or damaged return or exchange shipments.
Disclaimer:
All Barkstone Designs products are manufactured using top quality materials to withstand normal wear by pets and people. Normal wear will vary based on the behavior and activity level of your pet. For example, a dog that plays hard with you and his pals will put more wear on a product than a dog that sleeps quietly all day. Jewelry items should be treated with care just like any other fine jewelry. Barkstone Designs products should not be used to restrain or control your pet. The tag necklaces should never be used with a leash.
Always supervise your pet/s while they are wearing our products. The crystal used in our jewelry may break if subjected to abnormally harsh impacts. Some colored bone beads may fade or discolor over time, this is normal. All products are hand-assembled in the USA, using materials that may have originated outside the US.
Unless labeled as "lead free" all glass crystal contain small amounts of lead high enough to fall under California's Proposition 65 lead warning. We have been reassured by our suppliers that our products are completely safe to work with and to wear. Please note that beads containing any amounts of lead are not intended for use by children under 12 years.
